Light My Day
An answer-first reference tool for everyday date, time, location, and browser questions — computed answers, not padded articles.
- Audience
- Developers and everyday users who want a direct answer to a small factual question — an HTTP status code, their IP and timezone, the days until a holiday — without wading through ad-heavy pages.
- Why it exists
- Reference queries like these are dominated by pages that bury a one-line answer under SEO padding and ads. Light My Day computes the answer and shows it first, with the derivation made transparent.
The design commitment is "answer first, computed not padded": every result is derived (calendar logic, timezone resolution, request headers, finite lookup tables) rather than written as generic content, and each answer lives at its own durable URL.
